Served as a team lead and helped lead the launch of Contra's platform. Was in charge of building Contra's custom React Relay routing solution and eventually evolved the project into an open source project for the greater React/Relay communities to use. Lead building the improved content editor experience that powers creation of projects, services, and opportunities on the platform.
Smartcare is a SaaS company that is building software to run a far more effective, lucrative, and modern hearing aid center — finally bringing the hearing health care industry out of the 90's. At Smartcare I not only serve as director to our product design and user experience, but also assist in branding, art direction, technical development, and team building. I also operated as product owner for several months to set a course for optimal team function and flow based around product vision.
At SpinGo, I was part of a small team that worked on designing all of SpinGo's internal and external products. It was my responsibility to design improved user interfaces and user experiences based on direct user feedback. During my time, I directed new change through design to SpinGo's Event Guides, user dashboard, and event promotion system.
During my time at Rocketmade I had the privilege of designing and developing many web and mobile applications. My responsibilities included conceptualizing, wire framing, branding, user interface design, user experience, and front-end development. Products I worked on ranged from college and university massive open online course (MOOC) software, news reader and story reach consumption tools, new product experiment prototypes, and network security alert dashboards. I also helped build Rocketmade's growing UI/UX team.
At Edward Marshall I worked with diesel automotive and diesel technology companies to build marketing and e-commerce solutions. I worked on design and development and lead the front-end development of Diesel Sellerz new e-commerce offering. I also worked with H&S Performance to develop and launch a successful online marketing campaign that included a live stream of the company's internal research and development tests.
I helped open Simply Mac's fourth store in St. George, Utah. As a Senior Pro for the company, I led Simply Mac's Simply Answers customer training program. I was in charge of custom trainings on their new and existing Apple products from Mac OS X, iOS, and other software. I then transitioned to a service technician and expanded the St. George store's service department leading it to receive Apple's Service Excellence Award and be accepted as a Premium Service Provider location. Before my departure, I was recognized as one of the top performing 50 Apple Authorized Service Provider Technicians in the nation.
While at Bluff & Madison I worked on the re-branding and new marketing efforts for Tuacahn Center for the Arts. I was involved with updating the current branding and web design. Tuachan's new designs were so successful, ticket sales were being purchased online with the new system we built instead of over the phone, like previously. This saved the organization a tremendous amount of time and money.
